Dunvegan Castle is located on the western part of the Isle of Skye. From Portree, it is a little more than a 30-minute (22 miles) drive on the A850. If those who prefer not to drive, it is possible to catch the 56 bus in Somerled Square in Portree to Dunvegan Castle. The ride takes about 45-minutes.
