So, how do you find a bear in Slovenia? As far as spotting bears in the wild is concerned, there is no better (and safer) place to go than the Kocevje Forest. There aren't many tours in the region and they don't come cheap but there are between 500 and 700 bears in the area so you have a good chance of coming across one if you head into the wild!
